How reputable is Prestwick's PGA Jr. League programs?
Prestwick has been nationally recognized by the PGA of America two years in a row as the top program in the Minnesota PGA section.
What days of the week are PGA Jr. League?
Our spring and summer sessions practice on Thursday nights 6:30-7:45 and play our matches on Sunday nights beginning at 5:00. Our fall program practices Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:45 and play our matches on Saturday night beginning at 5:00 and moving earlier each week as the sun sets sooner.
What skill level is PGA Jr. League for?
Whether you are a beginner or advanced junior golfer everyone can get better and have fun!
What is the age range of PGA Jr. League?
Our program is listed as 13U but our age range is 6-15.
Are there any additional benefits to being in PGA Jr. League?
Yes! Being apart of our PGA Jr. League program allows each kid to hit a free large bucket of range balls everyday during the session they are signed up for. We also have many different prizes we hand out during the each session of the program. We also do pizza and lemonade for the kids after every match.
What is the format for the matches?
Our matches are a scramble format. The kids will be grouped in teams of two or three kids and play against another team of 2 or 3 kids.
How many holes are the matches?
The matches are 9 holes played on the front 9 here at Prestwick!
Is there any traveling to other courses with PGA Jr. League?
No, everything we do with our PGA Jr. League programs are done in house here at Prestwick.
